Check with the vendors at the bottom of the page. I use the Cardas cable from Headroom and it's a good value

Goldplated?

Hi,

Goldplated is the preferred way to go unless you are plugging and unplugging a lot of times.
The goldplated will wear fast when you unplug a lot. In that case I always advise my customers to go for nickel plugs.

But if it is not used often, the goldplated is preferred as the softer gold gives a better connection.

It is our philosophy to manufacture true High End cables for specialized connections in headphone, MP3 player, and HiFi component interconnections

In that case, nickel is the way to go for me.... I plan to plug my ipod into my speakers once awhile...
