ACS custom sleeves - anyone tried them

Thread Starter
I have found that ACS in the UK will do custom sleeves for my Westone UM2 at a reasonable price including getting the impressions taken.made. This is obviously a lot easier than sending impressions across to the US and avoids any hassle with customs charges etc.

Has anyone had any experience with them or actually seen them in person. It's hard to tell from the web site what they would be like as the sleeves are alos done for Ipod type buds as well.

I've emailed for more details but would love to hear from any users of them here.

The reason for the custom moulds is to get that little bit extra clarity & comfort over flanges.

Steve

PS If I get more details I'll post them here for others to see.

Digging up a VERY old thread, but I've just ordered some custom sleeves (made by ACS) for my Super.Fi 5Pro's...

I hope to have my impressions made at the weekend, then it should take a couple of weeks for the sleeves to arrive.

I see from your sig that you have the ACS T2... Nice!!

I got my IE8 sleeves from ACS and some time ago also sleeves for my SE530's. ACS themselves are great to deal with, I find the weakness to be the network of crappy audiologists they have working on their books. 2 lots of custom sleeves and problems both times with fit. If you are having the molds done at ACS there should be no issues. Good luck.

I had my impressions done by the David Ormerod at Boots audiologists:

I hope they came out well!

Can't wait!
