KSC-75 buzzing from left side

Today I noticed my Koss KSC-75's buzz slightly from the left side when a loud bassnote hit. I know about Koss's warantee,, so I might as well take advantage of it but what could have happened?

Check and see if there's a hair sitting on the driver. That happens all of the time with my 75s, especially now that I have my pads quarter modded.

Yah, buzzing in the bass...for sure a hair in there somewhere. Watch out; it could be a big hare

Its interesting but KSC-75's earpads tends to collect hair inside. I have never noticed such a thing with my KSC-35's. Just take out the pad and inspect the inside. Then use a sharp pointed tweezers or needle to take it out. Pay attention not to touch the diaphragm.

Ah cool. Np, i've got the smallest tweezers you've ever seen, for placing SMT parts for hand soldering.

Man these things have taken a beating. I use them whenever I go biking. I ride donwhill, and have taken quite a few nasty spills with these on, almost every-time an earpiece goes flying off my ear.

I once passed out for a few seconds and woke up confused to hear music playing. But it was a good song so I just layed there on the dirt and enjoyed. Nothing like critical listening from the ground.

Talk about thread resurrection!!  I just found this and finally fixed the buzzing in my KSC75s!!

 

So happy right now ksc75smile.gif
