Sorry, guys, if I'm not allowed to do this (just sign up and try to sell something). Please take it down if it's not allowed here!

FS: 30Gb Third-Generation iPod, with Dock, etc.
I've got a shiney new gift certificate here, so I'm ready to let go of my trusty third-generation iPod. It's in really good condition, because I've always kept it in its iSkin.. has never given me any problems. The battery was getting really short back in December, but I replaced it with an "extended life" battery from Best Buy. It regularly gets about 10 hours if I leave it on shuffle and don't skip too many songs. It comes with the dock, charger, fire cable, USB cable, iSkin eVo case (blue), but no headphones... the iPod headphones kicked the bucket long ago, and I'm keeping my headphones (e2c's!) for my new iPod. I even have the original box and manuals, plus the iTunes CD. Unfortunately, I don't have the stickers anymore. It also includes the headphone remote, which I hardly used.

I'd like to get 115$ U.S. for it, and we can talk about shipping... If you're in Canada I'll do it free (insured and all that, of course). You can pay through PayPal. If you're interested, hit me up at dannay337@hotmail.com.

Also, I have a 512Mb Shuffle I used to use for biking that I'd let go for 40$ U.S... It's scratched, but not chunks missing and fully working. Comes with the lanyard headphones. I have the box, could easily ship it for free in a padded envelope or something like that.

Thanks!!!!!!

This is the other forum I posted the ad on...

It's the light-up touch-button model. Battery just replaced last December! Gets about 9-10 hours now, if you leave it on shuffle and don't skip much.

I'm interested, but could you please post up some pictures? Also, how old is it? I'm a bit worried about hard drive lifespan.

It's allowed ... for now at least. We unfortunately have had problems in the past with scammers joining the site and attempting to steal from our members, so we are continuously reminding people to be extra vigilant when dealing with brand new members attempting to sell items. I hope you understand if our membership is a little leery dealing with someone brand new who's attempting to sell items using an untraceable hotmail address. If your stuff doesn't sell right away, try again in a few months after you've been an active member for a while. Welcome to Head-fi.

Or you could send it first and get the money after. Something I could do...

PM me if interested.

WARNING

Bought some stuff from dannay337.

Seemed legit. Claimed to ship first.

Have not heard from him since July 17th.

I'm feeling burned - and not from the sun.

Opened and escalated a claim with PayPal.
