If you want to discuss sales/resales go to the member forum or pm someone (feel free to PM me with any specific questions, just want this thread to be useful, not full of flames or jabs)
I didn't post that as a "jab" to the GS1k, nor am I trying to start a battle between people. It's just that sometimes back someone speculated as in when will the first GS1k will be on resale and many suggested 06/06/06 and it came true. Look at my inventory, I like Grado alot. Thanks for being so rude.

Uhh, I am still on wow.
Sorry you are having a bad day/week..
Thanks for the mean smiley, what is up with that?

..yes I looked at your inventory before replying to your post. The point was to get some constructive feedback exposed on this newly released product for those that have heard and own these phones.. again no offense, just weird that comments like this typically dissuade the the topic matter away from the original intent, and are usually supplied by those that do not even own the phones, or are even posting OT.
I was not being rude or trying to direct any offense to you, sorry if you took offense..no worries from my side!

edit for spelling/tone

Nowhere in my post did I direct the word "Jab" at you directly?? Sorry nonetheless..

edit: grammar

I'm beginning to wonder if the topic of this thread is really "GS-1000 appreciation", or instead, it's more about the regulation of posts by the OP and whether, in his mind, they are "on topic" or not?!?! Judging by the number and quality of posts about each subject by the OP, it would seem that a stronger argument could be made for the latter.

Indeed the OP needs to get off his high horse and realize his thread isn't that damn important. Nor is it his job to decide what is or isn't on topic.

Nice Big Cups You Have There!!

One cool thing I noticed at first but has really grown on me regarding the GS1's is that since the cups are so large, it is a lot easier keeping the cords from tangling up!! That is totally cool, and makes storing them a whole lot easier!!

It seems most of these GS1000 threads have gotten off track. The problem is people then get in a big fight and that takes up most of the posts.

Back on track, yes the bigger pads keep them from twisting like the RS-1. One disadvantage of the big pads, is they give you headphone hair. They also leave a little indent on your face that goes away after a while.

I'm still burning them in during the day. I'm not sure they need anymore burn in but I don't know how many hours my GS-1 amp has, so I figure more burn in couldn't hurt. I've been very busy so I haven't had a chance to listen to them much in the last few days.

iamdone
thanks for bringing this back to full circle and OT..
I have to leave town until the end of the weekend, and it pains me to leave the GS1's at home...

Na, it must be just be the heat.

Anyway, way to come around everyone.

Has anyone compared unbalanced and balanced yet? probably too early for this but thought I'd ask anyway.

I don't think the balanced versions have shipped yet.
Oh ok - I don't know why I even ask since I'd have to swap my whole system out to go balanced. I guess I was just curious.

Has anyone noticed differences after 150 hours. I have that on mine and really have noticed only small differences since the first 100 hours or so. The biggest differences came after the first 5 hours or so.
Damn it .... waiting for mine is like waiting for the kettle to boil....

Toooooo lonnnnnnnnng...

Still no news. Sigh....I have to resort to reading about them!
