Even after seeing that pile of fail?

I was just interested in learning more McAlister amps, there were not too many threads out there.  Is it your opinion that these amps are not anything noteworthy?

Well they are noteworthy but not for any good reason.  The worst design, build quality and service of any amp maker is what McAlister is noteworthy for.  Given just how many amp makers out there sell bad products, have terrible build quality and treat their customers like crap this is indeed something special.

Avoid. I had dealings with this company -- atrocious customer service and worrying build quality, to say the least (and I mean the least). And be prepared to wait an aeon for a product you should never have bought. Next to the old Canadian QUAD distributor the worst audio experience, bar none, I have ever endured.

YMMV, of course.
