considered it, but the scratches aren't appealing, and i'm not fond of iTunes. also, the lack of radio and recording aren't very happy-making either, thanks for the suggestions guys.

any more opinions on the e250/ksc-75 setup?

there are many options other than itunes.

regardless, its out of my budget. i can't justify $250 for just 4gb, though it is a better deal for flash than HD

You could try and look for a 1gig U10 on ebay or audio forums, they should be going at around 130-150. But i understand that is out of your price range so ill be quiet (you can buy a really nice case and strap from the iriveramerica.com site aswell for running and excersice )

you can get the 2GB (like the e250 you are looking at) for $200 or $180 if you're a student. the e250 is cheaper, but the nano is another option.

and the threads title is just calling for this

rockin there's a video of course that would be out of your budget too because of $100 shoes that you'll have to replace every few months. I don't see why you wont get the T10 since you don't like movies or pictures. don't go to iriver's main site if you want to buy the T10. there are better deals on amazon, ebay, etc.

of course there's a video. i just wanted to make sure you knew....

anyways, i really have no reason to not get the T10, except i can't buy off the internet. my parents are convinced that amazon is really a malicious teen in disguise, and is going to steal their money....even though its my money. moving on, i have to buy my toy at Best Buy, and for just $20 more than the 1gb T10, i can get the 2gb e250. best to try it out first.

so guys, i think i'm going to go to best buy and play around with the display e200 before my decision. i think the contest is between the nano and the sansa. any reasons to get one over the other? recommended accessories for one or the other?
you did say you wanted 20hrs of battery life and the nano doesn't come close to that. the sansa might with topping at 20hrs (according to the manufacturer but how often is that true?). you can easily get 30+ out of the T10 out of the claimed 50hrs.

didnt think about that. alright its between the Sansa and T10 now. is the T10 battery standard or rechargeable? i'm not to happy about the standard dock and USB-only charging on the sansa.

the T10 uses your standard AA battery
