I thought your Dynahi was pretty good. Better than expected actually. I enjoyed it more than that Dynamid / V2-SE you brought at the mini meet.

But tubes in general are pretty sweet

A great amplifier in spite of it's age. I think the Melos - HP1000's are truly one of the great combos out there. Now you know what to get next!

The problem is I have this HP2 in my hands now. I'm continuing tweaking my system and I just couldn't get them off my head. This is a large problem as it sounds pretty lively and the way I like it only I won't have these for long.

Did the GS-1000 go on sale already or did you get a loaned pair?

For a pre-amp w/ a headphone out, the Melos sure does sound lovely. I had the pleasure of listening to one with a SR60. It was really dam nice even with the SR60.
