PA2V2 In Motion

Not sure if this should be here or in DIY but I want to share this with everyone. I have a 30gb iPod in this enclosure
http://cgi.ebay.com/WA-WA-Crystal-Cl...QQcmdZViewItem

I bought 3 velcro straps and 1 velcro square at Home Depot. I attached the PA2V2 to the iPod with a velcro square from the belt loop to the top of the PA2V2. I then put the three velcro straps thru the belt loop and around the PA2V2. This creates a very strong bond. I am also using a Turbo Dock from Turbo a Head-Fi member. The interconenct is the one supplied by Gary when you buy the PA2V2. I did buy 6" interconnect from Turbo but it was not long enough. You would need an 8" to do this correctly. Enjoy the pictures and thanx for reading...Rick

Sorry about the small pictures but there was a file size limit. How do you get bigger pictures on here?

If you are a contributing member, then you've been allotted an amount of space in the Head-Fi Photo Galleries section. If you're not a contributing member, then you may host your photos on services such as PhotoBucket or ImageShack.

Try hosting them on http://www.imageshack.us, then link us from there, or embed the images.

Great concept, but not the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I'm very intersted in this though, as I also have a 30GB iPod and I've ordered a PA2V2. But then again, I haven't completely decided if I'm going to carry around my 30GB that much when I get the amp. Right now I mostly use my Shuffle, unless I want to listen to multiple playlists, which isn't too often. But I am going to be bringing my PA2V2 everywhere, so the 30GB probably won't be much of an add on to the bulk. Right now I have an iSkin eVo3, and I don't really want to glue velcro to it.

has anybody used the 3m dual lock adhesive? basically its a sticker on both sides and you stick it to the ipod and your amp. then you can join the ipod and amp together and its removable/reattachable...

Yes sir! Works like a charm.

thanks for the pic, that pretty much does it for me! where did you get the dual lock adhesive? i'm trying to locate a store that sells them rather than going online...

I bought it at Radio Shack. Home Depot should have it as well.

one more questions, can the adhesive be removed easily? i wanted to know in case i sell my ipod, i don't want to have it leave sticky residue on the back...

It peels off with a little force to get the corner started. Cleans up easily.

That double sided tape is a velcro that you can get from..

...radio shack. It can be remove easily and if there are some leftover sticky gum, you can easily remove it using baby oil or goo gone.

It comes off easier than that. I rolled the gum up into a ball with my finger and then rubbed off the rest with my tshirt.
