i was totally astounded by the result and in fact thought the ksc35 would top the poll. Although the HD600 and the HD580 has an almost similar sound quality, the price is another matter. Despite of which, the HD600 at ~$250 is surely a very well valued and versatile headphone for anyone. I just found it hard to understand why it was found to be the MOST overrated headphone.

if we were restricting it to the "MOST" overrated headphone per user than i can see your point but i think the poll is still quite valid by itself?

I didn't mean to say the poll had no value. What I meant was--some users voted for only one headphone, some users voted for more than one. Some voted for both the HD580 and HD600, some voted for ONLY the HD600. Therefore, it is not possible to establish any clear difference between the 580 and 600. Perhaps no one voted for only the 580. It is not possible for us to tell.
