What's the Difference in Virtual Dynamics Digital/Non Digital IC's?

I've noticed Virtual Dynamics have added a "Digital" line to their IC's that are about half the price of their regular IC's. The "Digital" version of the Revelation line are the same price as the "Regular" version of the Master line. So what's the significance of the "Digital"?

Digital cable is just that: one cable only, not a pair like you'd get with regular interconnects. It's meant to connect the digital output of a CD player to an external DAC, and the DAC will then give out an analogue sygnal.
