I was listening to some music beofre I went to bed last night. i was about to fall asleep, so I quickly reched over and shut off my CD player, forgetting to switch off my amp. Slept for 8 hours...woke up today. I unplugged my phones and amp and brought it downstairs to the computer to download some music and listen to it. I played some music I hadnt listened to beofre (the Beta Band) and noticed that sometimes the bass sounded weird...alsmot as if the drivers had been blown out. I tried unplugging the phones from the amp, right into the computer and the same thing happenned. Ive tried listening to other music....but it only seems to occur on "bassy" music. Am I just hearing something I didnt notice before, or could leaving headphones plugged into an amp all night with no signal running through it hurt the headphones? HelP!!
