Five material things that you don't think you could survive without. (besides food, water, air)

1. Treo (my planner, address book, notepad, email/messenger, web browser, document viewer, crappy mp3 player, camera, ..and phone)
2. Glasses
3. Laptop
4. My "New England Aquarium" Stainless Mug
5. My favorite pair of blue jeans

Digital Voice Recorder:

The only word I could think of in the English language to describe the absence of this device is “Chaos”.

Commercial Fire Safe:

I always have quite a bit of cash at home, because I hate balancing my checkbook/debit card. I pay for as many things as I can with cash, or money order, and I love it!

Beer/Alcohol

The day I go to the doctor, and he, or she tells me, “No more alcohol". The topic of conversation will switch quickly to euthanasia.

Grooming Tools:

I groom my nose, my ears, my eyebrows, my head, my face, my neck, and my beard. Without these tools I would look like a caveman.

Music:

I have found nothing in life, so far, that is more interesting to me.

In no particular order:

1. My ukuleles and guitars. (Music)

2. My books. (Knowledge)

3. My workplace. (Giving to others)

4. My house. (Where I love others deeply)

5. My audio gear. (Music, again)

While I believe God is real and dwells in the experiences above, God is not a material thing, so not relevent to the OP.
