I went looking for a 6 foot cable to connect my HeadRoom Micro Dac. I found they have a 4-pin and a 5-pin available.
Based on what I read on the back of the package the 4-pin is meant to transfer up to 11 Mbps while the 5 pin supports 480 Mbps. Which would seem to indicate USB 1.1 and 2.0 versions of the cable.
My question is: Which one do I need for the Micro Dac? If both will work then it would seem having the ability to transmit at the higher rate would be an advantage. Is this correct?
Thanks.
