hi all, i'm relatively new here. i've been looking around for excellent sounding IEM's for less than $US40. i listen to a variety of music genre's; rock/alternative, pop, hip hop, techno/trance/house/dance, rnb, classical, and some game OST's. yep that's a lot.
to cut to the chase, i'm looking for a pair of IEM's that sound clear, crisp and firm. i'm currently thinking of the JVC-Victor HP-FX55, they seem very promising.
i currently own a sony MDR-ED31LP and Sharp HP-MD33S. also, it would be excellent if the cord was 50cm +/- 10cm cos usually hang my MP3 player around my neck.
cheers, 92dB.
