Hey all,

I'm going to buy a pair of cheapies to hold me off until I can get the real deal, so how could I not get the Koss KSC-35 with everything good that's been said about them, right? How well do they isolate, though? I'm not sure how well they'll work for me if they let all the sound out...

I'm going to grab the Sennheiser MX-500 from Amazon as well. They'll be better than my Sony earbuds and are at a cheap price.

I'll probably just buy both anyway; I can still use the KSC-35 at home...just wanted to know before I get them.

LOL, that's what I was afraid of.

I think I will though...I can use the MX-500 on the go and the KSC-35 whenever else.

get sony ex70s for isolation that is cheap. or aiwa hp-v600. i have a pair of the koss clips, but they just collect dust because they dont isolatE AT ALL> the senn buds dont isolate either. ex70s can be had for like $40-$50. aiwas $25 or $20. they both isolate VERY well. they sound pretty good.

Hmm...Amazon.com shows them in stock. "Usually ships within 2 to 3 days" it says. Or are you not in the US?

The EX-70s are out of stock however...They both look very nice. I've always been satisfied with the Sony phones I've bought, but you can't really tell which is better by looking. Which one is the best compromise between sound, isolation, and comfort?

I personally hate the Plugs (even after they are modded). I prefer the sound of the aiwas over the plugs but I do not have the sonys to compare them to.

BTW audiocubes.com is selling the aiwas. I got mine about a month ago.

What's the best place to get the Aiwa HP-V600, if not amazon?
I have about $50-60 to blow, and I wanted to get both a pair of earphones and the KSC-35s. I know you can get the HP-VX100 from audiocubes, but it would cost $35 ($10 shipping =/)...anywhere cheaper, or am I being too stingy?

*goes raking for dough*

The only places I've found HP-V600 are yahoo Shopping $20 plus $15 shipping. Outpost.com ($!9 plus about $5 shipping) has them on backorder, but you could try. And I called Aiwa USA a month ago and they said they would get them in soon ($19 plus shipping). **The audiocubes' Aiwa's (VX-100) are short cord version**

The Sony EX-70's don't sound anywhere near as good as the 35's. The bass on the Sony's is too emphasised and the treble too harsh. They are outstanding for listening to classical music at very low levels though - in that way they are almost unbeatable - the additional bass works really well.

By low level - I'm talking about 2 - 3 out of 30 on my Jukebox 3
