which headphone AMP for my phones?

well i've got some beyer 531s and wondering which amp is most suitable?

i've been recommended the Creek OBH-11, but i'm looking for something a little cheaper

what is best?

i'd suggest doing a search on the forum if u haven't. and just read reviews of diff amps. personaly i don't have the dt531 but from reading i see they have a pretty high impedance.

so you'll want something for higher impedance headphones.

also what kind of music do you listen to...whats your source?

cheaper eh? Contact JMT for a cmoy variety amplifier. I'm sure he'll be able to help you.

Syphon: I can't talk about the Creek, because I haven't heard it, yet - but I'm very happy with the Corda HA-1. Alas, it's even more expensive. But a good amp is worth some money, I'd say...

i heard about the meta42. what does "MAX out" mean?

roughly how much would it cost? a PM is welcome

HI: Max Out Means that all the best stuff is in the amp for the current time. You can get lest exspensive MEAT42 but THE Max Out one has all that the maker can do to it currently. THe price you will have to pm or e-mail JMT.
