Did anyone else notice this?... is it just me or is that a really good deal?

That's a great price, for sure. I can't think of headphones for that price that do jazz and classical better...

If you enjoy the 501 sound, that's a great price.

HD580 is quite close though at $150 (last time I knew).

What I wonder is how the bass rolloff on the K501 affects timpani.

It's a really good deal, but also the going rate at most places right now.

Great deal IMHO. I ordered mine last Friday. Should be here this week.

Great prices from a great seller.

Couldn't agree more about how good these are for classical and jazz. They are power hungry though and need an amp and some bass boost. I use them with Xin's SuperMacro 3 with the gain and bass bosst switches enabled. Sound great!
