17 new Sennheiser headphones!

Thread Starter
I just saw this site this morning. They got 17 new styles coming out. I'm not sure what the sound quality or what components they're using, but they're definitely going after the trendy market. I just hope they at least maintain a semi-high quality standard.

Looks vary familiar!
I'm thinking 'koss'.....
...with stress relief and 'user adjustability' (e.g. recable )
I'm sold!

the good thing about buying headphones is that, unlike computer hardware, once you spend alot of money on phones, they never get old and outdated, theyre like a car, no matter what year, good headphones are always good

Well, if they use the MX400/500 drivers they could be nice .

I don't remember seeing the Style Line before. They look pretty sharp.

WAY too much Flash animation on that site.

That's an understatement - the whole site pretty much IS one big Flash animation. I guess the marketing folks think that if someone is looking for a fancy entertainment device, the presentation should be colorful and flashy. This may be warranted with this new Sennheiser stuff, but can get annoying when looking for an MP3 player - sane people beyond their teens are buying these, too. Flash is OFF here for the most part, web sites should provide solid information and not get on my nerves.

Sadly, all of little interest to me... Thanks though. I really appreciate it when people do heads-up like this. I think my friend just got a pair of HD205. They are pretty good for what they cost: bassy, comfortable, versatile, light, etc... Sound is ok and doesn't disappoint for a pair at this price range. The colour combos on their new headphones look very fun-looking and I really like the direction that Sennheiser is taking to maintain their market share by appealing to the younger generations as well. I am, afterall, still a kid (turned 18 last year...) and these appeal to me as youthful and full of fun!

OMG!

~ Team sennBOSEr~

Did they take marketing lessons from BOSE???

17 models of almost the same ear-bud , but different colors.

MORONS!!!

And what important information they give!

*colors
*plastic
*stylish

Not....
*20-20,000hz
*32 ohm
*dynamic driver

Sennheiser will become BOSE,,APPLE,,KLIPSCH,,ONKYO,BANG & OLUFSEN,,......etc.,if they keep going.
The flash site is a pain in the ass to navigate. You cant just hit your back button to see the other line. You have to drop the page and hit SennUSA or whichever choice and watch another flash movie to see the next line.
Im sorry, but the flash EXCITEMENT didnt thrill me into making a stupid consumer decision like most people that buy from the large consumer stores.
We can sell crap as long as the packaging is nice, and we play loud music in the store and have neon signs all over.
You know its getting pretty bad when RadioShack has better headphones than BestBuy.
Ok,,i better stop. I looked at too many blogs and forums today praising rip-off companies....lol

No specs...?

They're on the site in PDF format.

*edit* Links added

Street Line

Style Line

The "twist-to-fit" earbuds look rather interesting. Normally I have a bit of a problem with the way earbuds fit, but if any of those sound decent I might have to pick them up and see how they do.
