If I were living with a roommate, he wouldnt last 1 month before he'd be ordering up his HD600s!

I was able to bring my entire rig with me to college. But I chose a college thath happened to have a very low theft rate. I never lock my door, and have had nothing stolen from me. But I also brought my pc with me to college as my main source to that cuts down on space needed for a cdp.

No. However, if I were to have had one, I would make sure that I trusted them absolutely before I even thought about bringing out my gear. As I said, just be smart, and you'll be fine. Also, never put yourself in the position of losing anything you can't afford to replace.
