Just have Craig build you a Zana with the smaller footprint.

And if all else fails contact your local chapter for the National Association to Advance Fat Amp Acceptance

Ship that baby a few times and wait for the FedEx/UPS bill to come. She'll really love it then!

Shipping the amp is nothing. Try shipping 36 22 oz. bottles of beer from Florida to N.Y. UPS 2 day.

Leave you hanging, me? I think it's time to crack open a Hot Rod Rye.

Hi Time Wine Cellars (hightimewine.net) in Costa Mesa, CA. It costs a fortune to get it shipped here.

Do you know if it is open to the general public? Since it's pretty close to where I live. It might be worth the 45 to hour drive.

(Beer) Uh, sorry to be off topic, but about that Moth 2A3. Think of all it's goodness in rich sound. Yummmmmm! And now, to know, that the Zana Duex is even "way better" than that. I even have an e-mail from Mr. Eddie Current himself saying that "the Zana Duex is the best sounding headphone amp I have ever made".
This is said, not, as to take away from the wonderful Moth/EC 2A3 proclimations; which are well deserved; but rather as a prophecy of greater things to come. Indeed the Moth/EC 2A3 variations are a wonder to hear and enjoy. But behold, there is more, more on the horizon. Look to the horizon and believe. The Zana commeth.
Quench your HeadFi thirst in the cool calming waters of Eddie Current.

No! I ain't no damn employee nor do I get paid for all that bobblegosh.

Should be interesting to listen to IF Craig will ever build them. Know he's busy but it certainly appears that there's a great deal of interest in the Zana. I'm sure there's enough folks in line to do a short run of these. Wonder what the hold up is?

Patience is a virtue.

Maybe I'm a geek, but I always wanted the Moth Nitelite.

Radar tubes are just so cool.

When I spoke with Craig he said the Zana IS coming. It just takes time when your funding these things yourself. Maybe if someone threw a big wad of cash Craig's way the amps would come sooner, but now it's one guy paying not only for the parts and taking the time to hand wire these, but there are tooling costs in producing the chassis components as well. He's also working on a new Cicada driver. He mentioned that in order to get these produced he'll have to do a run of something like 500 of these. It's a huge investment because it takes a long time to recoup costs and finally turn a profit. He did say that the Zana should sound better than the 2A3 amps, but to say way better will be a bit of a stretch. But, the simple fact that they will be that good and sell for nearly half is amazing, and will give many here a chance to own something truly special.

I'm also not paid a dime for this plug. I'm just an extremely happy Moth camper.

BTW, I'd also love to have one of those Moth nights.
