older integrated amplifier or receiver recommendations?

Thinking of checking out Ebay and the local pawn shop for a cheap older integrated amp or receiver and wondered if there's anything in particular I should be looking for? I know Ebay has more of the Marantz & other 70's stuff, whereas I think my local pawn shop has more of the 80's & 90's stuff.

Any recommendations?

For headphones too ?

If yes then look at the H.H. Scott tube gear (El-84 output section) the Eico HF series for tubes and the Marantz 22xx series and Sansui AU-xx in SS integrated
