Very cool.
I'm a big Michael Hedges fan, who played in this style, but on acoustic guitar. I got to see him live twice before his untimely death in 1997, and he was totally amazing to see. His did a lot of cover versions of other artists, ranging from AC DC to Pink Floyd, Madonna, Prince, and many others, as well as his own compositions.
If you want to see his playing style, check out "An Evening with Windham Hill" on DVD. Michael does five songs, and his set is amazing. Of special interest is his harp guitar playing. I've never seen another artist play this instrument with such grace. Well worth seeking out.

The video didn't really impress me. He just turned up the guitar really loud and all he had to do was tap on the string with one hand. Unless I wasn't paying much attention... Which I wasn't.
I liked the Justin King video's. They're awesome.
I prefer this over the first video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LOYR...%20machineguns
Guitar solo in the middle. (I like the song, but not really great when it's live. :P)
Also giving this guy some props as he sings and plays the guitar.

its just that...everyone has seen shredders, and that was just a mediocre shredder, nothing special.

Everyone has different tastes. And the vocalist isn't even the lead guitar player. (btw, that video is around 7 years old)
