I am finding that I don't use this nearly as much as I did with my previous ipod. I have used it perhaps all together about 5 hours since its purchase. This was purchased about 4 months ago, was immediately put in to a case, but with some complications I will explain below.
I put on a best skin ever, and it did not go on right. So I ordered another one and took the old one off. There was some sticky residue so I tried to remove it. I thought I had read somewhere that Goof-off can be used and started using that - to my horrors, it started to discolor the front - only on a small section, perhaps about the size of a dime - and I quickly stopped. Then I realized that what I read about was Goo off (perhaps I have the two names reversed, but I used the one that I should not have!). Anyway, I put on the new best skin ever and actually it looks perfectly normal and you cannot see the spot. Please don't ask me to take off the BSE to show the spot.
Then I purchased the nifty carbon fiber case you can see below. The ipod is now well protected, looks neat and works great.
I have the box, all accessories are still in their sealed pouches.
So, the amount spent was:
$399 ipod
$8 BSE
$50 carbon case
I am looking for "reasonable" offers, including trade for a cheaper player plus cash. I think the whoe thing is worth more than $300, but if you can convince me otherwise, please try. I am also looking for a titanium version of the Tissot T-Touch watch, if you have one.
