I don't have one. My K-501 fit beautifully next to my amp on top of CDP. And my HD-280 are mostly folded up and chucked somewhere! In bag, on top of lappy etc.

Yeah, it was made for me by swt61 in thanks to some advice I gave him. I was completely blown away when it arrived as when he asked for my address he said he was only sending me some informational pamphlets on the K340.

I purchased a wine bucket. The cords go inside, and the headphones straddle rim of the bucket. And, I can hold like 6-7 pair.

Why do I use a headphone stand? Simple. To avoid the gradual ware and tear of constantly setting down the headphones on the housing, which, over time, could loosen the drivers inside. These are delicate instruments with fragile parts. If you always set them down on a table, etc, you are causing shock to the housing. Plus, even if you compensate for this by putting them down gently, others you may live with will not. It is just a matter of time before they toss them on the table as they would a cheap cell phone.
