damn, I thought I had it figured out...

y'know, get a portable amp, some closed cans, a better source and go on for some speakers....

but I sold my sr60's yesterday... decided to give em another spin my new Kate Bush album before parting with em (they were catching dust, but still..). they do so phenomaly with female vocals, it's uncanny. apart from sounding a bit cluttered compared to the hd565, the voice man! the voice...*sigh* I almost said to the guy (he said he was oing to use em in the train, uh-oh!) I wouldn't sell afterall (need the money tho *sigh*).

so, I need more female vocals and a pair of RS-2's somewhere in the future as well I'm afraid

sorry for this random rambling, but you guys know what I mean..

I kno exactly....I have this INSANE urge to try some used Grados.....aww....my dad will go crazy....I just convinced him I'd be happiest with the Senns.....ya - I kno how you feel. Exactly.

the grado sound is like the sennheiser sound...only different. Things sound much closer and generally louder. Almost as if the music is more crowded. I generally prefer the Sennheiser sound..but others will disagree. Grado's sound much more "upfront" and "in your face". Someone else can probably put this into words more good than my self. Anywho....go eat some chicken gumbo...

Yeah, I really want to hear some Grados, especially the 325s and RS-1s, but I need to wait until the Headroom caravan meanders this way... I'm going to be waiting awhile...
