two recent experiences lead me to start this thread...one, a friend of mine damaged his e3c (his fault) and sent them in to shure for repairs. within a week he was sent a brand new e3c (his were over two years old) and a bunch of tips. second, i had a grado headphone extension cable that started quitting on me...i had it for about 3 years. i sent it in to grado and today i received a brand new cable. no charge.
i know these are not isolated experiences as many of you have expressed similar sentiments. i love the great customer service i've received over the years since getting into this hobby. etymotic, grado, shure have all been fantastic, as well as audio advisor, TTVJ, ray samuels, and all the DIY guys i've had the pleasure to encounter.
maybe it's the nature of this business to offer great CS because it's high-end stuff and the customer base is relatively small...but whatever the reason, i like it! what other companies can you rave about?
