Van den Hul OPTOCOUPLER Mk II

I'm thinking of buying this cable to connect to my micro dac (from emu 1212) but im worried about the resale value of a toslink -> mini cable. is there a high demand or should I go ahead and stick with a regular toslink -> toslink and buy an adapter (which would add to cost somewhat and increase jitter probably)?
thoughts?

From my point of view I'd say for the toslink-mini toslink. Why pay that sot of money for a great cable and cripple it by using an adapter. You may as well just buy a cheaper cable. One of the features of the able is the domed shape ends which you will not be using if you add an adapter on the end.

To get mine at a reasonable price I hunted around and then had to get one sent across from the Netherlands to the UK, Even the standard toslink-toslink version was hard to get and the toslink-mini toslink were like gold dust.

As long as you don't pay over the odds you should be able to resell.
