Going to sell them and get a pair of those aluminium AT's
Consider an inexpensive CMOY or a mid-priced small amp. You won't regret it. I can't believe how great they sound amped.

Not at all. I have just never been satisfied with any other headphone brand since I heard my first K240... and that's pretty low on the ladder!

Ultrasone 2500 .... recessed, muffled mids and a steely sibilant treble. I should have done more research. The head-fi hype finally got me on that one.

ATH-ES5.Too bright,very little bass.Very well build but i didn't like the sound

Sony EX51 all the way. The cable deteriorates very fast, tinny bass and no highs at all. I had bought them for about 50 USD before I found Head-Fi, what a waste of money.

Though, the most regrettable thing I have done, is joining Head-Fi.

Grado GS-1000. Grado's flagship headphones have brought countless hours of joy & magic to my life, so when their new flagship product was released I bought one believing there'd be more listening pleasure in store. I was sorely disappointed.

AKG K701. See above.

I used to dream of owning these cans, I finally got them and my dream turned into a nightmare.

none/nada/nothing/zip/ziet

reasoning being i have a very strong and persuasive in-built rationalisation engine that works through any potential remorseful scenarios and positivisez it within about 30 seconds

Sony MDR7509HD. I had the knowledge of Head-Fi to buy something better and I didn't. I haven't made a mistake like that since and I won't ever again. It's a good headphone, but there are much better ones out there for the price. It's for monitoring, not for casual listening.

bought a v6 this week so harsh in the upper region. I don't understand why anyone would like such a shrill phone. What's up with all the sony 7506/v6 fans?

I bought some Sony iems. What a waste, they were super uncomfortable and the chord breaks extremely easily.
