you're talking about 'jitter'. one of the main digital audio problem.


btw, about 75ohms audio cable. i heard something about if you make the cable a specific length it sound best, 1meter or something. is that true.

I think any ideal lenght would depend on cable and connectors, for a given set of connectors and a certain cable design there may be a "sweet spot" but I don t think it could be the same for every cable

digital reflections in the cable determine ideal length and under 2 meters the reflections are not good.
Even if your DAc sits right on top of your transport you want 2-3 meter cable length.Kinda looks a bit goofy having 7-10 feet of cable hanging off the back but if it is performance as goal and not how something looks the preferred way
