By my count it is still Wednesday (3/8), which can easily be considered the "early" part of the week (ok, technically the "middle" of the week). Personally, I'd rather have an amp that works correctly when it arrives, than a rush-job that required adjustments or repairs after it got to me.

I'd say Singlepower is doing you a favor. Chill.

Btw, wouldn't another call to SP have calmed your nerves better than you posting an uncalled-for rant on this board???

I am sorry but I find your comment disconcerting. Singleower (or for that matte any company) is not doing him a favor they are selling a product. The customer was told that the product would be shipped early next week which it has not if we use the no charge as a basis.

I do not understand why is it that very often members here criticize the customer for posting on a vendor not meeting their own schedule.

Personally leebert I see your point, you should be disapointed that the product you ordered and were promised is not in your hands yet. Hope you get it soon, the amps from Singlepower are beutiful to look at and the sound is very very nice. Good luck.

You are correct in that this takes a while to do. However the way I read the post is not that, I see as an item is expected by certain time and it is not received. If he had been told it will take 3 months and he posts after 5 weeks then the poster is incorrect.

Amazing, just amazing. Someone is not happy with the service they feel they are receiving and he gets jumped over.

This is great!

Rather than using such strong language (deception etc etc) against another person on a forum in respect of which Singlepower has no opportunity to reply, I think the proper thing to do is speak directly to Singlepower about the problem. Not quite sure what the point is of starting such a thread - are we meant to respond saying whether we agree, disagree,...think Mikhail is a nice bloke etc etc - sorry, I thought this was meant to be a forum discussing headfi not slagging off members of the trade.

Is the product really worth this type of hassle? Enough to reward these business practices with an order?

Thoughts?[/QUOTE]

I "rewarded" Mikhail with an order for a tricked out Maestro ZR due to the quality and features of the amp, not due to the speed with which he builds it. Realizing how many people here on Head-Fi alone have pending orders with Singlepower, and how highly customized my amp is, I told Mikhail that whenever it is ready is fine with me. And I meant it. I don't have a deadline to beat here. However, I am looking forward to a great amp that I believe will be a work of art and last for many, many years. I would much rather have Mikhail paying attention to creating a work of silver-wired art than delivering the amp to me by a certain date.

Further, I may be partially responsible for the delay of your amp since Mikhail personally spent many hours on the phone with me working out the exact configuration of my amp. Mikhail was incredibly patient and didn't rush me in any way when I was ordering. I will now try to be patient with him.

I have to agree with Leebert to a point.

If a company promised something it should be done. Something I learned in business is always, " Under Promise, & Over Deliver". Meaning if a product takes 4 weeks to produce, tell the customer 6 weeks. When they get it in 5 weeks your a Hero. Tell someone 4 weeks, and it gets delivered in 5, your the Goat.

From his post on times E-Mailed and Calls made. Deception, Dishonesty, and Poor Service, I wouldn't go that far yet. But it's knocking on the door.

On March 2nd I called and spoke to David, who assured me my amp would ship early next week, with "expidited" delivery.

Today it's March 8th. No charge to my card. No box on my doorstep. No phone call of explaination.

Anyone else experience this type of deception, dishonesty, and poor service with SinglePower? Is the product really worth this type of hassle? Enough to reward these business practices with an order?

From my experince with Mikhail this normal.

I have posted about this befor and got PMs, from other members telling me to stop posting negitive things about Mikhail and Singlepower even calling me a poor customer . I think feedback like this important so we can make decisions based on all the info.

DWC could have added for people who missed the implicit sarcasm.
