I loved these buds to bits, they were the perfect everyday headphone. Small and light and comfortable and barely protruded past the outside of your ears. I like the fact that no one can really...

These and the PL30 are terrible quality buds, I went through both of them in less than 8 months. Both times they failed they left me in an awkward position where I really needed earbuds for...

Do you have access to an Apple Store (physical, not the web site)? If so, look for a refreshed 60gb iPod Photo. You'll find a better deal there ($199) than anywhere else -- even here.

Refreshed items of every description are never displayed in the Apple Store. You have to ask a salesperson directly, then wait for them to wander off and reappear with the item in question (if they have any).
When you ask for the Photo, try for a green-stickered item or, failing that, a yellow. Green means mint condition (generally, they look untouched), yellow means good to fair (there will be a few scratches), red means less than fair (I've never bought one).
