mini to RCA - Page 2

resurrection time:

like bdb55 said, any opinions on the kimber vs bolder cables?
theres about a $40 price difference btwn the two it seems ($49 and $87, respectively). i personally will be connecting my PCDP to a meta42 with RCA input.

ive considered making my own, but im still trying to do some research about what components to use (types of cable, types of RCA plugs) and HOW to do it (i havent done a single DIY project to date). please feel free to post or PM me any suggestions for this.

thanks all

Those Bolder cables are on sale right now. Not a huge sale, but a sale nonetheless.

Another alternative is a Twisted Pair Designs Game Junkie. You can order one from http://www.cjsaudvid.com/

Nana, I've been wondering the same thing. Searching the forums I found a couple threads, but it still not 100% clear. I'm not sure if I want to toy around with cables and solder or just break down and get the kimber wire.

Check out these threads for some info:

Definitely look at the second thread, and the link within that one. The guy kind of steps through an interconnect DIY project.

It seems to me that most of the materials need to be purchased in bulk... which means unless I make a bunch of interconnects it might not be cost effective (it might be cheaper to go the kimber route).

Let me know if you come across anything else, nanahachi. you can shoot a PM if you'd like.
