The SA5000 are much faster and more detailed..The SA5000 is better with postional audio, and in how it handles seperation..The 701s has better 3d imaging, and easier at placing enemies in line of fire due to it's great depth and spacious sound stage..Comfy wise, the SA5000,, by a long shot. Listening over longer periods, I'd give the nod to the 701.
