I have read that rew...

Did you hear the K1000/V20 combo? I think this is /as Wayne wrote here...) a very good amp for the AKG... (I think).

My Leben cs-600 do a better job, for certanis aspects, respect to the Ear V20... so I think (may be I'm wrongl...) that I have heard the K1000 at their 90% if not 100%...

Any cans need their amp-source-cable... matched fro the best result, and any cans with the best matched components, can give an amazing sound, each one in a different way...

(I had: Omega/Egmont ; R10/Angstrom ; K1000/Leben ; Qualia/RP010 ; PS1/HP4 and others topclass setups... all fantastic and all very different one each others).
