iRiver ihp-140 for sale

Hello, Everyone!

My name is Steve, and I just bought this used iHP-140 from Jeff (on the site - props to him for being such a friendly and patient guy!), but I had already placed an offer with another seller who accepted it, as did Jeff, so now I have two! I really wanted one of these, because it's one of very few in its class that has a rare OPTICAL IN/LINE IN and an OPTICAL OUT/LINE OUT, and because it supports not only MP3, WMA, ASF and WAV encoding, but also the new MP3 format, Ogg Vorbis - but I don't need two!

As Jeff originally mentioned, there's a small scuff on the screen (that you have to look at a certain angle to even notice), and a slight hard-drive noise (upon turning the player on, not in the unit (meaning the sound IS NOT audible in what you record or playback), that might not make it suitable for the open can crowd - he recommended closed cans for listening. When I received it, I told him one would have to be "hyper-critical" to be concerned by this, as the HD sound is negligable - and I listen "critically," (as I'm sure Jeff did.) Still, he (as well as I), thought it worth mentioning.

You can view pics and find out more (if that's possible - LOL!) on Jeff's post (Jeffreybar: dated 2/18 - same heading), as I'm having difficulty uploading pics. The iHP-140 comes with the instruction manual, installation disc, power charger, external mic, USB cable, the remote (in excellent condition), Sennheiser buds as well as the original BROWN leather case (not black as shown in the pic.)

I paid a very reasonable $325.00 via PayPal, and would just like to get what I paid back (plus a few hundred or so for all this typing - LOL!) Just seeing if there's any interest before I offer it to my friends and family, who really don't need a high-tech player/recorder as this. (I'm the one they usually ask to record tunes for them - LOL!)

NOTE: A friend of mine offered to buy this, and painted very carefully over the worn-off paint sections as shown in Jeff's pictures. But since his Xbox 360 only recognized this as a hard drive (no folders or music), he changed his mind, so I am offering it for sale once again. He did an excellent paint job, by the way - you can't even tell.

This player is packed with features (including an FM tuner), has tons of space (40 GB), and is now very rare and hard to find, as it went out of production a little over a year ago. It's also in GREAT condition for being used and it is guaranteed. I was thrilled to get it - you will be, too!

If you're interested, please let me know via PM. This is also on eBay, and will be sold without a doubt within 3 days.

Thanks for looking!
Steve

You want to post this in the Source Components for sale/trade. This is the wrong place. Moderator should be moving this shortly.
