I need help with adobe photoshop.

Thread Starter
I just got Photoshop9.0 CS2 and have no experience with it. I would like to learn the basic functions in order to get started. Do you know of any website that has tutorials for photoshop?

Thanks in advance,

Manuel

It depends on what you want to do with it. Art, coloring, etc. or Photography manipulation. Eitherway, run over to polykarbon.com and check out their link and tutorial section. Back in the day, thats where I started. It helped me a lot to imitate others work and see how close I could get.

Scott Kelby has a great one for digital Photography

the Photoshop CS2 Book For Digital Photographers

I believe he also has a conventional one as well. Try and find one that has a tutorial disc or a place on the internet that allows you to download tutorials and follow along. That's the way Kelby does his CS2 Photography book...

I just google for tutorials, find one that looks fun, and do it....I've learned a whole lot that way.

The best way to learn is to mess around with it. I learned the most with that approach but it took alot longer than taking a simple tutorial.

I agree. I took the self-taught mess-around path. It works, but it also takes forever to get to a decent level.
