HELP! E2c's cracking up!!

Thread Starter
This summer I bought myself a pair of E2c with the help of your great advices.
Unfortunately I think that they have a problem. Now one side of the headphone's cable(with a driver) plastic has started to crack and get off.The copper cabling inside it is completely visible.
I dont know what to do.Should I send them back and how do I do so?
Hoping for replies.

I would think your first step is to contact Shure and see if its covered. If it is, and they'll replace it, Im sure they will let you know what to do and where to send them.

My cable cracked too. My pair was only 3 months into the impressive 2-year warranty and I purchased them from an authorized dealer (discountheadphones). Went straight to Shure website and downloaded/printed out the warranty return form. Shipped the form with the phones to Shure and received a new factory-sealed e2 two weeks later.

If you want to be sure you can call them during the daytime. They're pretty friendly on the phone.
