Avatars - Page 2

Woof! Arf!

No it's not a self portrait - it's Eddie from Frasier, his real name is/was Moose (i believe that is the one). Dunno, just saw it on TV in Roz' booth at the deck wearing headphones listening to what Frasier said, and thought it would be a cute avatar, doesn't beat him who had a golden retriever with an HD580 in his avatar though

An avatar certainly does allow people to share some thing about themselves.

I recently changed my avatar from Calvin to the current one. For about a year, I used Calvin because I liked Calvin & Hobbes, for one, and it reminded me of my growing sons (5 and 2).

I changed to the current one because it shows a guy having fun listening to music with headphones, and well, that's what Head-Fi is about. I found it via Google Images.

My avatar was almost to good to be true. My cat Radar fell in love with an empty box from Mouser eletronics. He loved that box.

The funny part about it was that it took me the better part of a week to get a picture of him inside it. Everytime I would go for the camera he wold hop out of the box and wander off. As soon as I put the camera up he would get back in.

Gotta love cats.

Here's a larger version of my avatar:

I cycle through 3 avatars.
The current one is from a Nuclear Blast advertisement. I use it when I feel evil, or cranky.
I have one from the South Park website that I feel represents what I look like rather well, (it did until I cut my hair short) so I use it when I feel just so so.
I have another of a painting of a crow with boots. I use that one when I feel zen-ful.

I'm just a huge Pink Floyd fan, and this was the only image I really liked enough to use as an avatar. I'm not sure if anyone remembers my old one, but I've bene thinking of going back to it since Tool is coming out with a new album soon

My avatar is a close-up of my eye I took several years ago.
