Does ANYONE know of any online dealers with the "classic" SR225 still in stock? I ordered a pair from Music Direct last week and only just got a call today that they are out of stock and won't be getting any more. This after they charged my credit card twice! Frustrating.

I've been eyeing Grados for some time. I just wish I acted a tiny bit sooner. I don't want the 225i.

Is there something wrong with the new 225i? Most people seem to want the new 225.

The new 225i has been delivered (Todd ships fast), just don't have it in my possession yet. I'll burn them in for a while, compare with the 225, and share my impressions.

My local shop has the 225i in stock now and I have a 225, I'm going to see if they'll let me take the 225i home for a comparison I'll let you know the results.

They have all the new ones in stock up to the 225i

I just received my new SR225s this week. Got them through the discount that music direct was having. I also bought a Grado 1/4" -> mini adapter, but when I opened that box I was surprised to see that the 225s came with mini as the main connector and a mini - > 1/4" adapter. That was unexpected. Is this the way they come now?

They are awesome BTW, a good compliment to my er4s.

Hey I hear ya. I'm new and people try to pass off all kinds of bs, I know, I know. But I just placed an order with Music Direct because of the sale they were having, probably would have waited if I had known that the 225is were coming out the next day, but that's another story.

Anyway, this is what was in the Grado box. I was surprised as well. Now I'm not quite sure what I have.

I sent an email to Grado asking about it, but no response so far.
