What CD Player are you using with headphones

Just curious - for the people out there using just a CD and headphone amp only (not hifi amp & speakers) what CD player are you using as source into your headphone amp?

Curious because I was thinking about the amount I spent on hifi amp and speakers stands etc. I could have bought a decent amp and heaphones.

Using the Eastsound CD-E5 for redbook and the Denon 3910 for SACD / DVD-Audio.

I dont have a dedicated place to listen so I use transportable amps and vintage PCDPs.

Downstairs it's the Eastsound E5. In the bedroom, the SACDmodded Sony SCD-555ES gets the nod. The office is computer based(Dell XPS).

EVS modded Samsung HD-841. Now the trick is weather to invest in a superclock 3 for the samsung or dish out the dough for an Eastsound CD E5
