I use a DIY extention cord now, with a Clou Red.

I am thinking of replacing the DIY cord with a modified Clou Blue.....removing the Sennheiser connectors and putting on a female 1/4" stereo jack.

Anyone ever cut or soldered the Clou cables? They silver coated?
4 conductor? etc.
