And dat cable!  Now that is one serious stock cable they have on that thing!  eek.gif  BTW, how do yours fit?  Mine were crazy loose when I first got them.  I had to mod the elastic straps so as to have constant tension.

LOL, people keep asking me that!  Best that I can tell they are "Grado/ Alessandro hybrid Frankenstein mod job nobody has even seen or owned, that features modded aluminum 325 housing with MS-1 drivers and Grado UHPLC copper connecting cable" - as told to me by Beagle.

How do they sound?

I had a pair of SR60i for a few years, that I suppose you could say  were my first "real" headphones, and I had a lot of good listening with them, but eventually, I came to a point where I wanted a little more bass presence, and the big  cumbersome stupid cable eventually gave out, so I traded them away. At some point in the future, I would like to have another Grado, though.

Mine are crazy loose. What did you do to mod the straps? My only complaint is the lack of clamping force. I actually like headphones with high clamping force like hd280, and m50 because it makes for better acoustics.

I modded my cable. Its a breakaway, now.

Hey CrystalT and Archimedes, I'm gonna take the SE-A1000 and mystery Grado talk to PM's so that we don't completely derail the thread.  smile.gif
