Not really sure that this is budget-fi, although I think it is for Head-Fi standards. More Mid-Fi I guess though. (I am in high school, so what does that say....)

Yes, the KSC 75 price is correct, that's how much they retail for in Mexico, after customs, taxes, etc.

IMO, a great bare minimum budget rig is something like a Little Dot amp or similar connected to an iPod and cheap but good quality headphone like something less than $100.
