The last few nights you've all been subjected to some pretty crazy threads, mostly in relation to Tyrion and I begging to be banned. I've realized that our group down here has something special. After more meets than I care to count and lots of smaller interactions, we've really evolved past the quiet reserved headphone geeks. Our meets usually lead into some kind of over the top debauchery. It's why we have so many meets and can get excited every time!
The central figures in our Florida group are certainly Agile_One and honorary Floridian Wmcmanus. These two currently hold the record for most meets attended, dating way back to December of 2003, and perfect attendance for the many meets since then. Bringing up the 2nd place for attendance are myself, Tyrion, MikeG, and former Floridian GSFerrari (he's gonna lose his standing real fast if he doesn't make the effort!). Other notable Florida Head-fiers are Guss2 and his girlfriend Xenia, JP11801, PsychoZX, and Raaj (Recently MIA, come back buddy!). We also have a great list of honorary inductees including Stevieo, Immtbiker, and Ray Samuels.
Sorry if I've forgotten anyone, but the point is that all of us have become great friends and it shows in our sometimes bizarre posting habits. We're always happy to confound the outsiders with our insanity.
So I'm proud to introduce the hottest new Head-Fi group, Team Florida!. If you're willing to count yourself among the few, the proud, and the crazy, join me in using this tag. It can stand as a symbol to all the "outsiders" that, no, we're not really being serious. We're just a few idiots with a lot of inside jokes and stupid rambling that probably is only funny to those in the know. I apologize in advance for any such threads but rest assured that we enjoy such rantings immensely.
