Is Fid-Audio no more?

After a brief and unsuccessful search for a used custom breakout for my Emu 0404, I decided "to heck with it, I'll spend a little more and get a new one from Fid-Audio." So, around 2 this morning I put in an order for a Fid-Audio 0404 interconnect. I now have a reply in my inbox stating, "Unfortunately I am no longer taking orders at this point. Fid-Audio will be closing in the next couple weeks. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause." Was it known by anyone here that Fid-Audio would be closing?

Looks like I will have to keep searching for a used interconnect after all.

if you are still looking for an 0404 breakout, headphile.com makes a nice one.

Heres a tutorial on making a simple DIY 0404 breakout cable, it's pretty simple to do.
