5 pin DIN Power cord.. what cable to use?

Hey guys, i've slowly replaced all my interconnects and power cords with at least entry level audiophile stuff, the last thing that remains is the power cord connecting my amplifier to my power supply, this is a 5 pin to 5 pin DIN cable, I want to replace it with somthing better but have no idea where to start, im guessing that I will have to get a DIYer to build one or do it myself, but I don't know what kind of cable would sound good, maybe a lower gauge carol cable? I think the highest AWG cable that a DIN connector can accept is like 18AWG, but maybe there are some different din connetors that can accept somthing bigger, I'll only need about 1 foot tops, if anyone can recomend a builder or a specific cable type to use i'd appreciate it.

C'mon someone help me out here, I can get the connectors from headroom but I don't know what the maximum gauge wire that can be used with them, they seem kind of small.
