350mA seems pretty low to me although the amp's specs DO say 240mA. Radio Shack has this one:

It is 1000mA (It won't hurt it - just heavier duty and can handle a bigger appliance that's all)
It can be returned within 30 days if it doesn't work out for you.

Haha as it turns out it was my source that was causing all the noise. I was using an old Rotel for a week while my Cambridge was beeing shipped. The noise is gone now.
