couple newbie cable questions

Thread Starter
can anyone suggest a great rca to mini cable? i only need about 1m and i'd like to stay under $100. it's to connect my rega ear to my echo indigo card. i'm currently using the one that came with my echo card...looks to be nothing special. or, would this probably not make a whole lot of difference?

also, anyone have input on hd650 cables to go with my rega ear? i'm basically looking to maintain the richness of the sound, but brighten it a bit and push the bass further back. the headphone out on my echo card basically comes pretty close to the sound i'm looking for, but i completely lose the richness i get from the amp.

thanks for your help!

The normal big rubber feet of amps emphasize the low frequencies.
Try some tennis balls or cones under the amp. This should emphasize the high frequencies and make it a little brighter and richer.

It looks like the Cardas cable could be what you are looking for IMHO. I wouldn't call it a bright cable. It rather just exposes the mids a bit more than the stock and has a more "polished", less grainy sound. The bass is also less prominent.

A few reviews of differrent Senn replacement cables:
