Where would I get panel mount Firewire and USB jacks? I was hoping Radioshack would have these, but I don't see them on their site. It would be a pain to have to order these online.
I am planning on re-doing my iPod dock. I just ordered some dock connecter to which I can solder to the pins. I'd like to get these features if possible:
-Line Out (stereo mini jack)
-Charging via Firewire (Firewire jack)
-Syncing via USB (USB jack)
-TV Output (RCA jacks, are these at Radioshack?)
I've looked at the pinout and I think I get everything except the syncing via USB. Also, how would I wire it up to give line out audio to the mini jack and also to the RCA's?
I think in the upcoming days/weeks I'll look over the pinout a little more closely (and the pinouts for the Firewire/USB jacks when I get them) and maybe try and draw some sort of diagram of what I think I need to do, and then you can check that.
